We believe in supporting grassroots comedy and giving independent comedians a platform to shine. Our mission is to make it easier for everyone to find and enjoy live comedy in their local area.
Listing Criteria
We focus on regular, ongoing comedy rooms rather than one-off events. The comedy scene is dynamic and constantly evolving, with new rooms popping up all the time. Unfortunately, many don't make it past their first few shows.
To ensure we're recommending reliable venues, we typically wait for new rooms to successfully run several events before adding them to our listings. This approach helps us maintain quality and ensures that when you see a room on Dead Funny Club, you can trust it's established and worth your time.
